形態特徵

• Stem erect, 20-30 cm long, simple or 1 or 2 branched upward.
• Leaves ovate or ovate-lanceolate, 5-6 cm long, 2.5-3 cm wide, apex acuminate, base obtuse, glabrous on both surfaces, membranaceous, margin undulate, upper surface green, lower surface pale green, 3-nerved; veinlets distinct; petiole subsessile, 0.3-0.5 mm long, reddish.
• Flowers 1 or 2, white; pedicels 1-1.5 cm long, glabrous, slender; perianth nodding, 1.5-2 cm long, 6-8 mm in diam., glabrous; segments spatulate, 1.5-2 cm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, apex acute, base obtuse, spur absent, white, densely violet spotted upward, glabrous; inner segments more or less narrow; stamens 6, opposited to segments, 1-1.5 cm long; filaments more or less narrow; anther oblong, 2-3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide; connective with a short obtuse elongation; ovary yellowish green, globose, 2-3 mm in diam., glabrous, rounded at apex, more or less with short stipitate at base; style elongate-column, 10-13 mm long, white, 3-fid at apex; branches 0.8-1 mm long, recurved at apex and stigmate inner side.

• 台灣 : forests, 2,000-2,900 m, central Taiwan, rare.
